The fishing
Whether you want a relaxed day or a serious hunt, we run one honest format: a full-day charter, up to ten hours on the ocean, chasing salmon and halibut in some of the most bountiful waters on the planet. Eagles overhead, whales, seals and sea lions alongside — that’s a normal day out here.
The big one. Early-run Springs show up in May alongside the halibut — the north coast is legendary for really big fish.
Fast, acrobatic and great eating — a summer staple in the waters off Prince Rupert.
Barn-door bottom fish from the nutrient-rich banks offshore. Captain Kevin was featured in BC Outdoors’ "Bottom Monster".
Wildlife comes standard. During a day of fishing we’re likely to encounter eagles in abundance, as well as whales, seals, sea lions and a wide variety of seabirds.

From the log book
“We chartered two boats and our entire group had a great time. We took home a healthy haul of fish and seen some beautiful scenery, whales, porpoises and sea lions… thanks to you at Northern Bounty we had two wonderful fun filled days on the water.”
“I’ve been fishing with Kevin and Northern Bounty Fishing Charters for about 9 years and I’ve never been disappointed. He’s always put me on quality fish when other charters were struggling. I would recommend Northern Bounty to anyone.”
